Who We Are

Era Homes is the collective experience, expertise and passion of Chris and Esther.  They first met at the University of Texas at Austin where Chris was studying at the McCombs School of Business and Esther was getting a degree in Fashion.  Chris and Esther both worked in their respective fields since graduation, but it was not until 2018 that Chris left his job in corporate America to pursue real estate full time.

Professionally, Chris’ experience working in corporate America has allowed him to build and develop his skills in managing projects and timelines.  Most recently he worked in M&A and business development at Universal Weather and Aviation, an aviation services company in the General Aviation industry.  With a background in finance and new business integrations, Chris saw an opportunity to utilize his skill set and experience in creating value for his company, along with his passions to make a life change and start to create real value for his own family.

Esther’s professional experience as President of Clothesmax, a retail clothing store, had her running a 19 store franchise including 4 owned clothing stores.  This experience groomed her experience at looking at local fashion trends as well as commercial real estate shopping strips.  It was here that her abilities to sense and curate aesthetic charm and style at an affordable price became her passion.

Chris and Esther find their primary calling to be stewards of God’s blessings in their lives.  They have been blessed with a full family of three kids and two dogs and love spending time with family and their church family as well.

Their passion is not simply to build some houses for profit, but to build a home that will be a place filled with joy, laughter and new memories.  Their passion for hosting friends and family influences the design, aesthetic and functionality of the different elements of construction.  They are committed to providing a high quality product at a competitive cost where form and usefulness meet in desirable neighborhoods.
